Absa Bank Ghana launched the ‘Change Your Story’ campaign on July 1, 2024, aiming to reward customers for utilizing their debit or credit cards and embracing digital banking solutions.
The campaign, which ran from July to October 2024, offered substantial cash prizes totaling GH¢800,000. Each month, five customers had the opportunity to win GH¢40,000 each, amounting to GH¢200,000 monthly. To participate, customers needed to complete at least 10 transactions per month online or at Point-of-Sale terminals, automatically entering them into the monthly draw.
Absa Bank collaborated with the National Lotteries Authority’s Caritas platform to ensure transparency and fairness in the selection process. The campaign sought to bridge the gap in digital banking among Ghanaians, promoting a shift from traditional banking methods to secure, convenient, and user-friendly digital and card transactions.
Kobla Nyaletey, Executive Director of Retail and Business Banking at Absa Bank Ghana, emphasized the campaign’s alignment with the bank’s mission to redefine banking in Ghana. He stated, “With ‘Change Your Story,’ we are offering a rewarding experience that promises new possibilities for every customer. This campaign is one of our many steps towards building a more inclusive financial ecosystem where every transaction can transform lives.”
The ‘Change Your Story’ campaign is part of Absa’s broader effort to drive financial inclusion and elevate customer experiences, encouraging the adoption of digital banking solutions across the country.
