    Setornam Koku Dedey named overall best graduating student at Academic City University

    Setornam Koku Dedey, a former 2022 National Science and Maths Quiz contestant for St. Peter’s Senior High School, has been named the overall best graduating student of Academic City University’s Class of 2026.

    Dedey graduated with an overall average of 91.91 and a perfect Cumulative Grade Point Average of 4.0 in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, making him the first student in the university’s history to achieve a perfect CGPA.

    His latest achievement crowns an impressive academic journey. In 2022, he received an all-expense-paid Presidential Scholarship worth $40,000 to study at Academic City University College. That same year, he was named Best Candidate in Numeracy and Overall Best Candidate during Season 5 of The Sharks all-round academic quiz competition.

    Dedey also recorded an outstanding SAT score of 1590 out of 1600 in 2022, placing him in the 99th percentile. Throughout his undergraduate studies, he maintained straight A grades, ultimately emerging as valedictorian of Academic City University’s Class of 2026.
