The PRESEC Old Boys Association has launched a GH¢600,000 fundraising campaign to support the school’s contestants ahead of the 2026 National Science and Maths Quiz campaign.
In a statement announcing the initiative, the association highlighted PRESEC’s rich NSMQ legacy, noting that the school has won eight trophies in the competition’s history.
“8 NSMQ trophies. One unmatched legacy. But legacy alone will not win 2026,” the statement said.
According to the association, the funds will be used to support the team’s preparation, camping, transportation, and participation as they seek to compete at the highest level in the upcoming competition. The estimated budget for a successful campaign is between GH¢400,000 and GH¢600,000.
The association called on the Ɔdadeɛ brotherhood and supporters of the school to contribute towards the campaign, stressing that every donation is an investment in excellence and the next generation of PRESEC greatness.
“Let us rise once again and bring the trophy home. For Ɔdadeɛ. For excellence. For victory,” the statement added.
