    Education minister announces support for 1,530 students with disabilities under free tertiary education policy

    Education minister announces support for 1,530 students with disabilities under free tertiary education policy

    Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu has disclosed that 1,530 students with disabilities have benefited from full fee payment and residential coverage under the Free Tertiary Education policy for the 2025/26 academic year.

    The total cost of the intervention is estimated at GH¢9.8 million, aimed at improving access to higher education for persons with disabilities across the country.
