East Airport International School has emerged champions of the maiden edition of Copa Coca-Cola Ghana 2026 after defeating Ghana International School 8-3 in the final to lift the coveted trophy.

The tournament, which marked the first-ever edition of Copa Coca-Cola in Ghana, brought together eight schools in a competitive showcase of youth football talent, teamwork and sportsmanship. The competition was organised by Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company (ECCBC) as part of efforts to promote youth development through sports.

In the championship match, East Airport International School produced a commanding display, scoring eight goals to secure a convincing 8-3 victory and claim the historic title. Their attacking brilliance and solid teamwork made them one of the standout teams of the competition.

The tournament also produced several outstanding individual performances from East Airport International School players. Gad Asante won the Best Player, and Top goal scorer awards after scoring 21 goals during the competition, while Adomhene Asamani was named Best Goalkeeper after conceding the fewest goals in a tournament that recorded over 100 goals.
